Innovation Tax Credit (CII) Certification
House Of Coding is accredited by the French Ministry of Research under the Innovation Tax Credit (CII) scheme. Projects you run with us may qualify your company for a tax benefit.
What is the CII?
The Crédit d'Impôt Innovation (CII) is a French tax credit reserved for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that funds part of the cost of designing prototypes or pilot installations for new products. It complements the Research Tax Credit (CIR), which focuses on research activities, by covering the more operational phases of innovation. Rates, caps and eligibility conditions change with each year's finance law — check with your accountant or official sources (impots.gouv.fr, Bpifrance) for the parameters that apply to your company.
What our accreditation means for you
Being CII-accredited means House Of Coding is officially recognised by the French Ministry of Research as a qualified provider of innovation work. In concrete terms, part of what you pay us for an innovation project can come back to you as a tax credit: those costs are included in your own company's CII base, which is then deducted from your corporate tax. This requires your company to meet the eligibility conditions itself (SME status, qualifying project) and to declare these expenses using form n°2069-A-SD with the tax authorities. The exact rate and cap depend on the finance law in force each year — your accountant can tell you precisely what this represents for your business.

Frequently asked questions
- What's the difference between CIR and CII?
- The CIR (Research Tax Credit) funds fundamental research and experimental development for any company. The CII (Innovation Tax Credit) is reserved for SMEs and specifically targets the design of prototypes or pilot installations for new products.
- Is my company eligible for the CII?
- The CII is reserved for SMEs under the EU definition (fewer than 250 employees, and turnover or balance sheet under certain thresholds). Eligibility also depends on your project itself — check with your accountant or a specialised advisor to confirm your situation.
- How do House Of Coding's services fit into my CII file?
- Because House Of Coding is accredited, the costs you entrust to us for an innovation project may be included in your own company's CII base, alongside your internal costs, under the conditions set by current regulations.
- How can I verify your accreditation?
- Our accreditation is official and granted by the French Ministry of Research. It carries a unique accreditation number, shown on the certificate, which confirms its authenticity.
- How do I get a copy of your certificate?
